4th January 2012 - Park Closure due to Fires
The Wadbilliga National Park website indicates that the park was closed due to recent fires on the 20th of December 2011, and remains closed until further notice.
Driving There
From Cobargo, head west along Wandella Road, following the signs to Yowrie. Follow this road as it turns in to Yowrie Road and the Bourkes Road. Follow the signs in to Lake Creek Camping Ground as you approach the site. Directions on Google Maps.
The dirt road in to the campgrounds is unsealed dirt and is accessible by 2wd car
The Campsite
Facilities
There are picnic tables, fireplaces with hot plates and non-flush toilets available. There is no rubbish disposal, showers or potable water onsite.
Camping Style and Cost
Car camping (~15 sites) on flat ground. All camping is free and on a first come, first served basis (no bookings available)
Pets
No pets are allowed as this is within a National Park.
Phone Reception
Not likely to be any phone reception here with any mobile phone company.

There is nowhere here to swim.
